As Director of Technology Products at Obran, Ethan collaborates with worker leaders across the cooperative to build technologies that serve our members, improve our operations, and bring the benefits of our community to even more workers. His work brings together participatory, collective processes with a streamlined focus on tangible results.
A third generation workplace democracy advocate, Ethan brings to his work over 20 years experience designing and building web systems. His experience includes work for Obama’s senate and presidential campaigns, website and mobile application development for social enterprises and NGOs ranging from Seventh Generation to the American Academy for the Advancement of Science and NAACP, and numerous startups.
He’s the father of 2 inspiring children, and in his spare time seeks every opportunity to adventure with them in the world, explore nature, dance, and make music.
